Maria Becerra, Wow Wow, Becky G,

The 11-song set drops with “Wow Wow” featuring Becky G as its focus track, a hard-knock reggaeton single that has female empowerment anthem potential.

It marks the first time Becky and Becerra have joined voices for a collab.

With a “who needs men” attitude, the track (and music video) find the pair living the best life and sharing a wealthy lifestyle with their BFFs.

“Once I woke up and realized you were no longer by my side, I thought, ‘What good luck, this story has finally ended,’” Becerra opens the song.

Near the minute-mark, Becky G joins Becerra on the track, singing, “Life is just one and it won’t wait for you … everything is cured with a perreo so don’t be embarrassed to get down.”

Natti Natasha & Becky G Team Up for New Single “Ram Pam Pam”

Natti Natasha has reunited with Becky G for another bangin’ song…

Three years after releasing their smash hit “Sin Pijama,” the 34-year-old Dominican singer and songwriter and the 24-year-old Mexican American singer/rapper have joined voices once again for “Ram Pam Pam.”

Natti Natasha x Becky G

The hard-hitting reggaeton single features Middle Eastern influences.

It centers on a woman who’s no fool and has a message for her ex.

“I won’t make mistakes again/ And much less with someone like you/ Who treats me bad/ I don’t get sad if I don’t see you/ You looked for it/ My heart doesn’t beg you, it’s an atheist,” Natti kicks off the track.

The beat, lyrics, and vocal fusions are fire, easily becoming a summer anthem for the ladies.

The music video shows both artists joined by a group of girls dancing at a basketball court.

Like “Sin Pijama,” Prince Royce makes a camo.

“Ram Pam Pam,” which samples Daddy Yankee’s “Ella Me Levanto,” is a sequel to Natti’s all-female perreo “Las Nenas,” featuring Farina, Cazzu and newcomer Duraca.

Eladio Carrion Releases Sophomore Album “Monarca,” Featuring J Balvin, Cazzu, Yandel, Natanael Cano & More

Eladio Carrion is joining the monarchy

The Puerto Rican urbano singer, who was raised in the U.S., has released his 14-track sophomore album Monarca.

Eladio Carrion

The album opens with a confession-style intro, where he raps about feeling like he has the world in his hands.

The album features J Balvin, Cazzu, Yandel, Natanael Cano, among others, who join the Puerto Rican rapper on explosive, hard-hitting tracks.

From trap to reggaeton and hip-hop, Carrion delivers most trap bangers on his own.

Of the standout tracks, two are duets. On “Todo O Nada” with rising Venezuela singer Corina Smith, Carrion switches gears and slows things down for the R&B-infused seductive tune.

On the other end of the spectrum, trap-influenced hip-hop beat “Tata” finds Carrion and Balvin spitting fire rap verses.

The collaboration, which comes on the heels of Ecko’s romantic track “Mujer” released in September, is an infectious and sultry trap song about a former couple who’s going back-and-forth on what went wrong with their relationship. On the track, Ecko also spits some fiery freestyle skills.

“What happened with all of that love that you had for me?/ Without you the nights are cold and my bed is empty,” goes part of the lyrics that were penned by Ecko.

The black-and-white music video, directed by Renderpanic in Argentina, shows both artists paying a model homage to Bonnie & Clyde.

Lenny Tavarez Releases Anti-Domestic Violence Single “La Mujer Traiciona,” Featuring Beéle

Lenny Tavarez is using his voice to take a stand against domestic violence.

The Puerto Rican Latin trap singer is offering listeners a taste of his sensitive side in his latest single, “La Mujer Traiciona,” which features 17-year-old upcoming artist Beéle.

Lenny Tavarez

“La Mujer Traiciona” narrates the story of a woman who is unfaithful as a result of physical, mental and emotional abuse from her partner.

“If a woman doesn’t feel protected and doesn’t feel loved, she will most probably betray her partner,” Tavarez tells Billboard. “This song was born with the need to give women a weapon to say ‘yes, I failed you but it was your fault.’”

Recent statistics by the National Domestic Violence Hotline show that “on average, 24 people per minute are victims of rape, physical violence or stalking by an intimate partner in the United States,” which is why Tavarez decided to bring up the important social issue.

“Not only do we want to raise awareness but we want to make it clear that domestic violence is a problem,” he says. “Above all, we want to empower women not to give up and to seek help if this is happening to them.”

Directed by Laura Castellanos, the music video shows the heartbreaking storyline of a woman who is a victim of abuse but in the end, leaves her toxic relationship. The closing frame shares the phone number to National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1−800−799−7233

“It was incredible to film this video during the pandemic,” Tavarez says, explaining that Beéle filmed his part in Bogota, the actors were filmed in Medellin, and he filmed in Miami.

For his new track, which is a tropical dancehall with Afrobeat melodies, Tavarez teamed up with Beéle because he admires his incredible voice and clarity on his sound. “I’m really happy to have him on this song. I like to vouch for the newer talents.”

As for the best advice he can offer to men and women in this situation? “It all starts with self-love,” he says. “If you give your partner an environment of love, your partner will respond with the same. Men, don’t ever lay a hand on a woman for any reason and women, be smart! Many times men give the wrong signals from the beginning.”

“La Mujer Traiciona,” which was produced by Dimelo Flow and King Swifft, forms part of Tavarez’s upcoming studio album Krack, which includes collaborations with Nicky Jam, Rauw Alejandro, Cazzu, Anitta and Natanael Cano, among others.

Alvaro Diaz Releases Music Video for Cazzu Collaboration “Deportivo”

Alvaro Diaz is getting sporty

The 27-year-old Puerto Rican rapper has joined forces with Cazzu to bring to life the story of a dangerous yet loving relationship in their new “Deportivo” video.

Alvaro Diaz

This isn’t Diaz and Cazzu’s first collaborative effort, but Diaz tells Billboard he’s always been a fan of the Argentine rapper-singer and was looking for the perfect song to collaborate on.

“I proposed this song to her and she immediately said yes,” said Diaz, who is part of NEON16’s management roster. “In less than a month, she added her vocals. We were excited to do the video but then the pandemic hit. I started thinking of ways to make it work, we couldn’t let this win us.”

With lyrics like “God, please take care of her, don’t let her get in trouble” and “she’s not a princess but I’ll build her a castle,” the infectious trap song is about a man who’s in love with a girl that’s no good for him.

“It’s about a girl who’s not normal but she’s still your girl and no one can touch her or criticize her,” Diaz elaborates. “You’re willing to do whatever you want for her and to protect her.”

In the music video, Diaz and Cazzu, portrayed by a model wearing a tablet with the singer’s face on it, are mischievous partners-in-crime. Diaz is clearly in love as Cazzu is doing her thing—robbing banks and breaking into cars, amongst other things.

“I told Cazzu I had this crazy idea for the video and she loved it,” he says. “She did her shots in Argentina and I filmed mine in Puerto Rico. Everything came out neat.”

In addition to “Deportivo,” Diaz says he’s whipping up an important project dubbed Diaz Antes that will include his two EP’s as well as more music.

Yeison Jimenez Signs With Vibras Lab for Global Representation

Yeison Jimenez has a vibrant future…

The 28-year-old Colombian singer has signed with Vibras Lab, the management company headed by J Balvin co-manager Fabio Acosta, for global representation.

Yeison-Jimenez-

Jiménez, signed to Sony Colombia, is one of the leaders in the country’s burgeoning “Música popular,” or popular music movement, the name given locally to Colombia’s take on regional Mexican music.

“Colombia is a trend-setter in music, and música popular, as they call the genre in Colombia, has seen huge growth there in the past year,” says Acosta. “Yeison is a leader in that genre and he has the potential to be one of those Colombian artists who are very successful with another genre, as happened with reggaetón and artists from Medellín.”

The deal with Vibras, says Acosta, will allow Jiménez to expand in other territories.

Already, the singer/songwriter has more than 400,000 followers on Spotify

Jiménez’s music is an example of how regional genres morph. Although he’s rooted in Mexican norteño and mariachi sounds, he also adds tropical music and the traditional acoustic guitar of Colombian popular music from the countryside for a unique blend of sounds.

Jiménez joins a Vibras roster that also includes Colombian Manuel Medrano, Argentine rapper Cazzu, J Balvin and newly signed Matt Paris.
