It’s a memorable first for Judeline and Rusowsky.
The Spanish artists have scored their first Billboard No. 1, as “BbY WOW,” with Karol G, rockets from No. 5 to the top of the Hot Latin Songs chart dated Aug. 29.
“BbY WOW” lands at No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs — which blends streams, airplay and sales — off a streaming-fueled surge.
The collab registered 6.1 million official on-demand streams in the United States during the Aug. 14-20 tracking week, according to Luminate.
The sum takes the song to a No. 34 start on the overall Streaming Songs chart and to an equal 5-1 trek on the Latin Streaming Songs list.
“It’s honestly hard to believe that a song we recorded just last month is already topping the charts — and in the U.S. of all places,” Judeline shared with Billboard. “Everything around ‘BbY WOW’ has happened so fast that I’m still processing it. I’m so thankful to Karol for giving me this opportunity, and to everyone who has embraced the song. Seeing how far it has traveled in such a short time is something I never could have imagined.”
“BbY WOW” gives Karol G her 11th No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs—and makes her the first artist in nearly two years to replace herself at the summit. Her Drake collaboration “Ahí” falls 1-4 after a 30% streaming dip, with 4.2 million U.S. clicks. The chart mixes streaming data, radio airplay and digital sales into its formula.
The last artist to pull off the feat was Bad Bunny, whose “Nuevayol” handed the crown to “DtMF” in January 2025.
Among female acts, Karol last did it in September 2023, when “Qlona,” with Peso Pluma, replaced “Mi Ex Tenía Razón.”
In addition to their Hot Latin Songs win, Judeline and Rusowsky race to their first No. 1 on the Hot Latin Rhythm Songschart, where “BbY WOW” climbs 5-1. Meanwhile, it soars 73-38 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 — Karol’s highest ranking in two years, after the No. 32-peaking “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” (August 2024).
On the global front, “BbY WOW” surges 171-37 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, with 17.9 million streams in the U.S. Plus, it debuts at No. 41 on the Global Excl. U.S. tally with 11.9 million clicks registered outside the country.
