Manuel Turizo’s “La Bachata” Holds at No. 1 for 11th Week on Billboard Argentina Hot 100 Chart

Manuel Turizo continues his chart-topping ways in Argentina…

The 22-year-old Colombian singer’s hit single “La Bachata” is spending an 11th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart dated November 19).

 Meanwhile, Rosalía’s “Despechá” holds strong at No. 2 for an 11th nonconsecutive week. Bizarrap and Quevedo’s “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52” rebounds to No. 3 for a fifth week after its eight-week atop the ranking, while María Becerra’s “Automático” dips 3-4.

Further, Argentinian Ysy A scores his 15th entry as every song from his latest album, Ysysmo, debuts on the tally. One song from the 12-track set, which released on November 11 through Sponsor Dios, scores the week’s Hot Shot Debut: “Cómo Chilla Ella,” with Sponsor Dios and Evlay, at No. 5.

Elsewhere, Bizarrap adds a 35th entry as his latest collab with Duki, “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 50,” debuts at No. 11. With the new arrival, he ties with Anuel AA, Ozuna and Rauw Alejandro for the third-most, trailing only Bad Bunny’s 53 entries and J Balvin’s 49. Duki, meanwhile, adds a 34th appearance to his account.

La K’onga takes the Greatest Gainer honors of the week thanks to “El Mismo Aire,” which ascends 97-81. Lali collects her 14th entry as “Motiveishon” starts at No. 83. Lastly, David Guetta and Bebe Rexha’s “I’m Good (Blue)” opens at No. 85.

Shakira Teams Up with Ozuna for New Single “Monotonía”

The 45-year-old Colombian singer has joined voices with Ozuna for the new song “Monotonía.”

The track will be released on October 19, Shakira revealed via her official social media accounts, where she posted a brief sound clip and an image of the song title atop a heart being stabbed with a dagger.

“Un pequeño rey con una súper reina,” Ozuna commented on Shakira’s Instagram post Sunday afternoon.

Earlier this week, Shakira — who confirmed her split with Spanish soccer player Gerard Piqué a few months ago, and said recently that she was going through “the most difficult, darkest hours of my life” — had teased new lyrics on Instagram: “No fue culpa tuya/ Ni tampoco mía/ Fue culpa de la monotonía.”

“Monotonía” will be Shakira’s follow-up to “Te Felicito” with Rauw Alejandro, which topped the Billboard Latin Airplay chart and also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart. It peaked at No. 10 on the Hot Latin Songs chart.

It’s Lucky No. 7 for Bizarrap.

The 24-year-old Argentine record producer and DJ’s collaboration with Quevedo holds strong atop the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart for a seventh week as “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52” tops the ranking dated August 27.

Bizarrap, Quevedo,It moves into a tie with four other songs for the eighth-most weeks at No. 1 since the chart launched in 2018.

Rosalía’s “Despechá” and Manuel Turizo’s “La Bachata” hold steady at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively for a second week. Rei and Callejero Fino stay at No. 4 with “Tu Turrito” and Duki’s “Givenchy” closes the top five at No. 5. Bad Bunny’s “Titi Me Preguntó” rebounds into the top 10 with a 12-8 trek.

Bizarrap’s Quevedo-Collaboration “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52” Notches Fifth Week at No. 1 on Billboard Argentina Hot 100 Chart

Bizarrap’s chart success in Argentina continues…

The 23-year-old Argentinian record producer and DJ’s collaboration with Quevedo, “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52” has banked a fifth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart dated August 13, four weeks after the song became the Argentinian producer’s sixth leader on the list, with five of those from his popular music sessions.

Bizarrap, Quevedo,Concurrently, three new songs enter the top 10, starting with Rosalía’s summer jam “Despechá,” which rallies 16-4 in its second week. It’s the highest ranking for the Spaniard since “La Noche de Anoche,” with Bad Bunny, peaked at No. 3 in Feb. 2021, where it remained for two weeks.

Meanwhile, Manuel Turizo captures his third top 10 in his 26th chart appearance as “La Bachata” climbs 14-5. It’s the highest ranking among his three visits to the upper tier, dating back to his first “Vaina Loca,” with Ozuna (No. 8 high, 2018).

Among other feats, Spanish rapper Rels B (Daniel Heredia Vidal) claims his first top 10 as “Cómo Dormiste?” joins at No. 7 as the Hot Shot Debut of the week. He previously reached a No. 71 high with his first chart entry, “Yin Yan,” with Duki in December 2021.

The 45-year-old Colombian superstar and Rauw Alejandro have logged a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart as “Te Felicito” holds atop the June 25-dated ranking.

It’s the third collaborative title to rule at least two weeks in 2022, after “Entre Nosotros,” by Tiago PZK, Lit Killah, Nickie Nicole and Maria Becerra, which topped the ranking for nine weeks this year (16 overall), and Paulo Londra and Bizarrap’s “Paulo LondraBzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 23” (two weeks).

Meanwhile, Bad Bunny joins a selective group of artists who have placed four simultaneous titles in the survey’s top 10 as “Moscow Mule” rebounds 13-10, one spot below its prior No. 9 peak (May 21-28-dated rankings). The Puerto Rican’s three other top 10 titles include “Me Porto Bonito” at No. 4, “Ojitos Lindos,” which lifts 6-5, and “Titi Me Preguntó” moving up 7-6.

Meanwhile, Sebastian Yatra adds his 25th career chart entry as his latest single “TV” arrives at No. 87.

Finally, Polimá WestCoast’s “Ultra Solo,” featuring Pailita, takes the Greatest Gainer honor of the week at it surges 61-33.

Shakira Earns First No. 1 on Billboard Argentina Hot 100 Chart with Rauw Alejandro-Collab “Te Felicito”

The 45-year-old Colombian singer has scored her first No. 1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart as “Te Felicito,” with Rauw Alejandro, rises 2-1 on the June 18-dated ranking.

It’s the first win for Shakira, dating back to her maiden visit to the tally with the top 20 “Clandestino,” with Maluma, in 2018.

The “Te Felicito” climb, meanwhile, marks Rauw Alejandro’s third No. 1 among a collection of 33 entries: “Tattoo,” with Camilo (July 2020), “Todo de Ti” (June 2021), both one-week champs, and now “Te Felicito.”

The Argentina Hot 100 ranks the most popular songs within Argentina.  The ranking is based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of leading audio and video music services as well as national radio airplay and plays of songs featured on a variety of Argentine TV networks.

Streaming data is provided by Luminate, while radio and TV measurement is tracked by BMAT/Vericast.

“Te Felicito” is the sixth collaborative title, among eight No. 1s, to lead the tally in 2022.

Paulo Londra Logs First & Second Entries in YouTube’s Billion Views Club

The 23-year-old Argentine trap star  has logged two entries in YouTube‘s Billion Views Club this week, with the Lenny Tavárez-assisted “Nena Maldición” and “Adán y Eva.”

The tracks’ official music videos, both from 2018, each crossed 1 billion views this week, becoming Londra’s first and second videos to achieve the feat.

On the Billboard Argentina Hot 100, “Adán Y Eva” peaked at No. 1 back in 2018. Meanwhile, “Nena Maldición” spent 14 weeks on the tally, peaking at No. 61 that same year.

News of Londra’s two music videos raking in 1 billion views comes during a busy week for the singer-songwriter. A multimillion-dollar, two-year dispute between Londra and his label, Big Ligas, was settled amicably in a Miami courtroom Wednesday (Nov. 10), just three days into the trial.

In a statement provided to Billboard by Londra and Big Ligas’ attorneys, they said: “The parties’ lawyers have stated that the parties are happy to announce that they have resolved their differences and that they will make a joint press release in the future.”

Warner will continue to administer Londra’s existing works, but no comment was provided as to his future projects.

Daddy Yankee Tops Billboard Argentina Hot 100 for Sixth Straight Week with “Con Calma”

The 42-year-old Puerto Rican rapper/singer continues to hold the top spot on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 with his single “Con Calma” featuring Snow for a sixth consecutive week.

And now, Katy Perry joins the No. 1 team, thanks to her remix of the song. The song is a debut on the charts for the American singer — giving her the best Hot Shot Debutfor an artist.   

The rest of the top three on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 remain the same as last week, with Pedro Capó feat. Farruko‘s “Calma (Remix)” at No. 2, and the Argentine trap anthem “Tumbando el club (Remix)” by Neo Pistea featuring C.R.O.ObiewanshotYsy ACazzu and more at No. 3. It is the first time three remixes have topped the list.   

Rosalía‘s song with J Balvin and El Guincho, “Con Altura,” climbed 12 places, ending the week at No. 12. Rosalía’s first-ever song on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 entered the chart last week at No. 24.  

BTS gained the most positions in the past seven days. “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey climbed a total of 51 places, now ranking at No. 27. On the day of its release, the video clip accumulated more than 36 million views in 24 hours, setting a YouTube record.

Estelares had the best debut of the week, with Manuel Moretti’s group at No. 69 with the latest single, “Ríos de Lava.”

Finally, “Chica Paranormal” by Paulo Londra re-entered the chart at No. 76, and the Argentinian trapper totaled five songs on the list, including two in the top 10: “Tal vez” at No. 6 and “Adán y Eva” at No. 8.
