Chayanne to Take Part in “Unidos Por Venezuela” Benefit Concert

Chayanne is lending his voice in support of the people of Venezuela.

The 58-year-old Puerto Rican singer and actor has joined “Unidos Por Venezuela,” a forthcoming benefit concert in Miami set to raise funds for the families and communities affected by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela.

He’s among a new wave of artists announced on July 23 that includes Gilberto Santa Rosa, Chyno y Nacho, Corina Smith, Isadora, Jerry Di, Jonathan Moly, Jorge Luis Chacín, Manu Manzo, Micro TDH, Nella, Joaquina andNoreh.

The benefit concert as well as international telethon, led by CMN, Maestro Cares Foundation, TelevisaUnivision and PIMIENTO Entertainment, with the support of iHeartRadio, Spotify, Creative Link, EB Public Relations and Arco Entertainment, will take place at 6:00 pm ET on August 16 at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

The event, created to support the South American country’s recovery and reconstruction, will also broadcast live across the United States, Latin America and digital platforms.

Previously announced participants include Marc Anthony, Ricardo Montaner, Feid, Jay Wheeler, Elena Rose, Silvestre Dangond, Gente de Zona, Mau y Ricky, Olga Tañón, Lasso, San Luis, Piso 21, Alleh, Zhamira Zambranoand Enrique Santos.

“Unidos por Venezuela” is in response to the devastating twin earthquakes — magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 — that struck the country on June 24, causing the collapse of multiple buildings in La Guaira and Caracas, and leaving more than 5,000 dead, over 17,000 injured and about 18,000 homeless, according to Reuters.

Donations can be made during the broadcast through QR codes, text messages, digital platforms, corporate contributions, and matching donation campaigns. “Funds raised through the event will be administered by recognized international humanitarian organizations to address the needs that arise throughout the different phases of recovery,” per an official statement.

The concert will also show special reports on rescue efforts, humanitarian work on the ground, and survivor testimonies, to further demonstrate the strength and resilience of the Venezuelan people.

Myke Towers Among Artists Set to Perform at iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina

Myke Towers is preparing for an all-star fiesta…

The 32-year-old Puerto Rican rapper, singer and songwriter forms part of the star-studded lineup for the 2026 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, which returns to Miami’s Kaseya Center on October 17.

In addition to Towers, Blessd, Farruko, Manuel Turizo, Eladio Carrión, FloyyMenor, Greeicy, Alleh and Cuban newcomers Rey Tony y Helabusador (aka Los Titis) will perform at the event.

Rey Tony y Helabusador, in collaboration with Ya Ice Dilan, are behind the ultra-viral reparto song “Dichavate” that was recently ranked No. 4 on Billboard’s Best Latin Songs of 2026 (so far) midyear list.

Hosted by iHeartLatino president and iHeartRadio personality Enrique Santos, this year’s annual concert will honor award-winning playwright, composer, actor and singer Lin-Manuel Miranda with the 2026 iHeartRadio Corazón Latino Award, celebrating his work both on and off the stage and for being “deeply committed to philanthropy and social impact,” reads the press statement.

Additionally, the Miami Fire-Rescue’s Florida Task Force 2—which was deployed by the State Department to assist the affected communities in Venezuela—will be recognized at the event for its heroic response to the devastating twin earthquakes that occurred in June.

“iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina celebrates the music, culture and pride that bring our community together,” Santos shares. “This night is a celebration of the resilience and contributions of Latinos from every background. As we celebrate our 13th annual event, we’re proud to showcase Latin music’s biggest stars while honoring real-life heroes. Live from Miami, we’ll bring this celebration to Latin music fans across the country.”

Tickets for the 2026 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, which will broadcast across iHeartRadio Latin stations nationwide, go on sale July 28 on Ticketmaster.

Chayanne to Perform at This Year’s “iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina”

Chayanne is preparing for a fiesta…

iHeartMedia has announced that the 2023 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina will return to Miami at Kaseya Center (formerly FTX Arena) on Saturday, October 21, with the 55-year-old Puerto Rican Latin pop singer and actor among the artists scheduled to perform.

In addition to Chayanne, the one-night event will feature performances featuring Ricardo Montaner, Fonseca, Servando y Florentino, Luis Figueroa, GALE and Menudo.

Enrique Santos, president and chief creative officer of iHeartLatino and on-air talent for iHeartRadio, will host the 10th annual edition.

“We’re honored to once again bring together incredible artists, electrifying music and a vibrant community,” Santos said in a statement. “Here’s to a decade of unforgettable moments, unity and the power of Latin music!”

Besides performing, Chayanne will also receive the iHeartRadio Corazón Latino Award which, according to iHeartMedia, honors an individual who “exemplifies their big heart through their selfless work enhancing the lives of the Latin community and beyond.”

The Puerto Rican icon — known for hits such as “Dejaría Todo” and “Torero” — has teamed up with and supported organizations such as Make-A-Wish Foundation, United Nations Human Rights for Climate Change, Women Refugees Commission and Heroes Por la Vida.

iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina will be broadcasted across iHeartRadio digital stations.

Additionally, Hulu will serve as the official streaming destination of the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina with performances live-streamed exclusively to Hulu subscribers.

The event launched in 2014 in Los Angeles but has since been taking place in Miami.

Throughout the years, iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina has featured headliners such as Jennifer Lopez, Daddy Yankee, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, Ricky Martin and Ozuna.

The 27-year-old Brazilian singer, who recently released the Cardi B & Myke Towers collaboration “Me Gusta,” will take part in this year’s virtual Latin Music Week (Oct. 20-23).

Anitta joins a list of new additions to the roster that includes Anuel AA, Becky G, Nicky Jam, Los Tigres del Norte and Wisin.

Anitta and producer and lead singer of OneRepublic, Ryan Tedder, will take part in a one-on-one conversation about working together on Anitta’s forthcoming album, Girl From Rio and much more.

Puerto Rican rapper and Billboard Latin Music Awards finalist Anuel AA will be joined by his close friend, Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx, to talk about their upcoming joint music and film projects, including a documentary on Anuel’s life, produced by Anuel, Foxx, and RD Whittington.

Luis Fonsi Feted with AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s SOMOS Humanitarian Award

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation recently hosted its fifth annual SOMOS gala in Miami to raise awareness around AIDS prevention and HIV in the Hispanic community and honored the 41-year-old Puerto Rican singer with the SOMOS Humanitarian Award.

“As a Puerto Rican, as a Latin living in the U.S., it is my responsibility to use my voice not just to sing, but also to ensure that the voices of those who need it the most are heard,” said Fonsi, accepting his award during the gala held at the Fillmore Beachon Sunday.

Fonsi was honored for his philanthropic work with St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the efforts of his Luis Fonsi Foundationto help victims of Hurricane Maria.

“I’m honored to receive this award,” said Fonsi. “But the real award is seeing the face of a healthy, happy child. … That’s my prize. My prize is to help. To be useful to others. To alleviate the pain some people carry.”

Jennifer Lopez to Perform at This Year’s iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina

Jennifer Lopezis ready to fiesta-jar…

The 50-year-old Puerto Rican superstar has been confirmed as a performer at the 2019 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina.

Lopez joins an all-star roster that includes Daddy Yankee and Ozuna, with more artists to be announced in the coming weeks.

The concert will take place at American Airlines Arenain Miami on November 2.

This year, the annual event will celebrate its sixth consecutive show with a video stream on LiveXLive.com and will also broadcast live on iHeartMedia’s Latin stations nationwide.

The event will be hosted by Enrique Santos, chairman and chief creative officer for iHeartLatino.

“Every year we proudly host some of the most influential artists in Latin Music and this year will be no different,” Santos said in a press release announcing the event.

Ricky Martin to Perform at This Year’s iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina: Celebrating Our Heroes Concert

Ricky Martin is honoring our unsung heroes… and, being honored in return…

The 45-year-old Puerto Rican superstar has joined the lineup for the 2017 iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina: Celebrating Our Heroes, hosted by Enrique Santos and Telemundo’s Jessica Carillo, taking place on Saturday, November 4.

Martin joins a roster that includes Luis Fonsi and Diplo, Nacho, Gente De Zona, Don Omar, CNCO, Reik, Jesse y Joy, Camila Cabello and Pepe Aguilar.

Telemundo will air this year’s event live from the American Airlines Arena, as a four-hour television special, which will include special tributes to first responders and communities impacted by the natural disasters in Texas, Florida, Mexico, Puerto Rico and other Caribbean nations like Barbuda and Dominica.

The event will also provide information on how attendees and viewers can support the local communities directly impacted by those events.

The iHeartRadio family will also present Ricky Martin with the second annual iHeartRadio Premio Corazon Latino award, which honors an individual for “their selfless work in enhancing the lives, heritage and future of the Latin community.” Martin is being feted for his efforts in providing relief and support to his native Puerto Rico, following hurricanes Irma and Maria, through the Ricky Martin Foundation.

Camila Cabello to Perform at This Year’s iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina

Camila Cabello is ready for a Fiesta…

The 20-year-old Cuban and Mexican singer and former Fifth Harmony member is set to perform at this year’s iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina.

Cabello, whose forthcoming debut solo album will be released in September, joins a lineup that includes CNCO, Don Omar, Gente de Zona and Nacho.

Cabello, the new face of Guess’ 2017 Fall campaign, performed for the first time as a solo artist at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.

The fourth annual iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina will take place at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami on November 4 and will be broadcast as a special at a later date on Telemundo. This is the third year the fest takes place in Miami.

The event will be hosted by radio personality Enrique Santos, who is also the chairman and chief creative officer of iHeartLatino.

Mexican stars Reik and Jesse & Joy are also slated to perform and more acts will be announced soon.

Wisin to Take Part in Pop + Urban-Themed Panel at Billboard Latin Music Conference

Wisin is ready for the perfect marriage…

The 38-year-old Puerto Rican rapper/singer, whose real name is Juan Luis Morera Luna, will appear at this year’s Billboard Latin Music Conference.

Wisin will take part in the panel discussion “Pop + Urban = The Perfect Marriage” alongside Mexican pop trio Reik, trap rising sensation Ozuna, Colombian vallenato singer Silvestre Dangond and ChocQuibTown‘s Tostao.

The discussion, focused on urban/reggaetón/pop fusions dominating the Billboard charts, will be moderated by iHeart Radio‘s Enrique Santos.

The Pop + Urban panel will take place April 25 at the Ritz Carlton in Miami Beach.

Other superstar-packed panels to be held at the conference include Socializing Maluma, Iconic Singer/Songwriter Q&A with Residente, and the Legends Q&A featuring Miguel Bosé.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards are the culmination of the Billboard Latin Music Conference, taking place April 24-27 at the Ritz Carlton Miami Beach.

Gloria & Emilio Estefan Receive TJ Martell Foundation’s Lifetime Achievement Award

Gloria Estefan and her husband Emilio’s philanthropic spirit is being celebrated in their hometown of Miami…

The TJ Martell Foundation honored the Estefans with the lifetime achievement award at their annual cancer fundraiser.

Scheduled as part of the NATPE market at the Eden Roc hotel on Thursday (Jan. 19), it was the foundation’s inaugural event in Miami and the first since the death of founder Tony Martell in November.

“To receive this award the first time TJ Martell celebrates an event in Miami is incredible for us,” said Gloria Estefan, while accepting the award alongside her husband. “We love Tony Martell, we love what he did. He turned a lot of pain into a lot of wonderful things.”

“When I used to go to Sony, Tony was always there with a beautiful smile,” added Emilio Estefan. “In [music], it’s important to use our career to make people’s lives better. It’s not just about us.”

On Thursday, it was about different sectors of Miami’s Latin music community coming together for a cause that is close to many. Hosted by Enrique Santos, the popular radio host who now heads iHeartMedia’s new Latin division, speakers included Maria Elena Marroquín, widow of CAA agent Rick Marroquín, who died last year of cancer.

In turn, the Estefan’s Lifetime Achievement Award was presented by Afo Verde, Sony Music Entertainment’s Chairman/CEO of Latin America, Spain and Portugal, who was a TJ Martell honoree in New York in 2014. Verde, who has a long history with the Estefans, spoke to the couple’s musical and cultural legacy.

“Gloria is one of the great music artists,” he said to applause. “To hear one measure and say, ‘That’s Gloria Estefan,’ that’s what all artists dream of.”

“I think we’ve never had a more beautiful introduction,” a smiling Estefan responded.

The event was punctuated by two excellent musical performances. First came Emily Estefan — daughter of Emilio and Gloria — soon to release her debut album. Backed by a powerful band that included horns, Estefan sounded uncannily like her mom, but applied her vocals to a hard to a blend of funk, soul and jazz. Both the pipes and the level of musicianship were impressive.

Next came the soulful Diego Torres, who sang an acoustic set accompanied only by guitar, keyboard and light percussion, which included new anthem “Igualdad,” and his perennially beautiful “Color Esperanza.”
