Silvestre Dangond Earns Third No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay Chart with Emilia-Collab “Vestido Rojo”

Silvestre Dangond is a man on top…

The 45-year-old Colombian singer’s collaboration with Emilia, “Vestido Rojo,” rises 8-1 to rule Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart dated June 14.

Silvestre DangondThe coronation on the overall Latin radio tally follows a 39% surge in audience impressions in the United States, which translates to 8.3 million, during the May 29-June 5 tracking week, according to Luminate.

It’s the third No. 1 for Dangond and second for Emilia.

“Vestido Rojo” was released on February 6 on Sony Music Latin. It lands at the summit in its eighth week on the chart, and after three weeks in the top 10.

Three Univision radio stations become the single’s main supporters. San Jose, Calif’s KVVF-FM registered the biggest gain in the period, with Phoenix’s KQMR-FM and Houston’s KAMA-FM landing in second and third place, respectively.

Thanks to the 8.3 million radio haul, “Vestido Rojo” marks Dangond’s return to the top of the ranking in over six years.

He last secured a No. 1 through another female team-up: “Justicia,” with Natti Natasha, ruled for one week in November 2018.

Among other placements, his first No. 1, “Cásate Conmigo,” with Nicky Jam, reached No. 1 that same year, in February 2018.

For Emilia, before ‘Vestido Rojo” unlocked the penthouse, the Argentinian singer earned her first chart-topper on Latin Airplay with “Perdonarte ¿Para Qué?” with Los Ángeles Azules, in July 2024. The song earned the family group its first coronation after nine top 10s.

“Vestido Rojo” also dresses up the top spot on Tropical Airplay, where Emilia achieves her first No. 1 through her first chart appearance on the list. Dangond, meanwhile, secures his third chart-topper on Tropical Airplay, likewise, his first since 2018, when “Cásate Conmigo,” with Nicky Jam, monopolized the top slot for eight consecutive weeks.

Beyond its Latin Airplay and Tropical Airplay coronations, “Vestido Rojo” rises to a new peak on the multi-metric Hot Tropical Songs chart, climbing 9-4.

Thalía Earns First No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay Chart with Los Ángeles Azules-Collab “Yo Me Lo Busqué”

The 53-year-old Mexican Latin Grammy-winning singer’s collaboration with Los Ángeles Azules, Yo Me Lo Busqué,” rises 9-1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay list dated May 3.

The song earned 6.4 million audience impressions, up 47%, in the U.S. in the week ending April 24, according to Luminate.

“Yo Me Lo Busqué” was released January 18 via Promotodo. The Mexican label achieves its second No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart, thanks to another collaboration featuring Los Ángeles Azules.

Their previous hit, “Perdonarte Para Qué?” with Emilia, reached the top spot for one week in September 2024.

As “Yo Me Lo Busqué” takes over Regional Mexican Airplay, Thalia scores her first No. 1, besting her previous No. 5 high through “Tú y Yo” in July 2002.

With their latest chart-topper, Los Ángeles Azules secure their sixth No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay, among 17 career top 10 hits. The group’s breakthrough classic, “El Listón De Tu Pelo,” remains their longest-reigning No. 1, holding atop the list for seven weeks in 2000.

Notably, as “Yo Me Lo Busqué” also takes the lead on the Latin Pop Airplay chart –where it jumps 2-1 with a 39% increase in audience, to 7.2 million– Los Ángeles Azules and Thalia swap successes in new chart achievements.

While Thalia scores her first-ever No. 1 on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart, Los Ángeles Azules claim the top spot on the Latin Pop Airplay chart, marking their first No. 1 there. It’s the third No. 1 for Thalia on Latin Pop Airplay, who in addition to her new airplay achievement, has also secured No. 1s on Tropical Airplay, twice, in 2000 and 2002.

Myke Towers Earns 14th No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay Chart with Benny Blanco-Collab “Degenere”

The 31-year-old Puerto Rican rapper and Benny Blanco have risen to No. 1 on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart with their catchy collaboration, “Degenere.”

“Myke’s such a talent and a star,” Blanco tells Billboard. “He knew exactly what to do on this song the moment I turned the beat on in the studio… he’s like a magician sometimes… the song just appears out of thin air… he’s incredible.”

“Degenere,” added to the deluxe edition of Towers’ album La Pantera Negra, was released on October 17, 2024, via One World International/Warner/Warner Latina.

The original version of the album was released on August 22, 2024, and earned Towers his fifth top 10 entry on the Top Latin Albums chart, where it debuted and peaked at No. 7.

“Degenere” reaches the summit in its 21st week, after two weeks in the top 10, thanks to a 20% boost in audience impressions, to 7.8 million, earned in the U.S. during the April 18-24 tracking week, according to Luminate.

With the track, Towers secures his 14th No. 1 on the Latin Airplay chart. It’s the second hit from the deluxe edition of the Pantera album to reach the top spot, following “Otra Noche” featuring Darell, which spent one week at No. 1 in February.

“Degenere” also ascends 3-1 on Latin Rhythm Airplay. On that list it marks Towers’ 14th No. 1 and gives Blanco his first chart-topper.

Banda Carnaval Earns Seventh No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay Chart with “Pude”

Banda Carnaval has finally returned to rule the roost…

After five years away from the summit, Banda Carnaval is back at No. 1 on Billboard’Regional Mexican Airplay chart, as its latest single, “Pude,” climbs from No. 4 for its first week atop on the March 29-dated list.

Banda Carnaval “Pude” leads after a 17% gain in audience impressions, to 6.6 million, on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart, which reflects activity in the U.S. from the March 14-20 tracking week, according to Luminate.

The song, composed by Javier Arturo Rochín and César Augusto Valdivia, was released on November 15 on Andaluz/Disa/UMLE. It rules in its 10th week on the list, following a No. 28 debut on the January 25-dated tally.

“First of, grateful to God, and second, thankful with our audience for making this happen, our seventh No. 1 on the most important music ranking of the world, Billboard,” Rafael Becerra Valdez, vocalist, tells Billboard.

The new champ adds to the band’s No. 1 ledger on Regional Mexican Airplay, now with seven champs. which also marks the group’s first No. 1 in over five years, since “Esta Vez Soy Yo” crowned for four consecutive weeks in 2020.

Bruno Mars’ Lady Gaga-Collaboration “Die With a Smile” Tops Billboard Global 200 & Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Charts

The 39-year-old part-Puerto Rican Grammy-winning singer-songwriter’s Lady Gaga-collaboration “Die With a Smile” remains atop the Billboard Global 200 chart, adding a 12th week at No. 1.

The ballad first led both lists last September.

“Die With a Smile” leads the Global 200 with 116.9 million streams (up 4%) and 9,000 sold (up 17%) worldwide March 7-13.

Nos. 2-4 on the Global 200 hold in place, with ROSÉ and Mars’ “APT.” at No. 2, after 12 weeks at No. 1 starting in November; Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther” at its No. 3 high; and Lamar’s “Not Like Us” at No. 4, following four weeks at No. 1 beginning last May.

On Global Excl. U.S., “Die With a Smile” rises 2-1 with 92.3 million streams (up 2%) and 4,000 sold (up 17%) outside the U.S. March 7-13.

“APT.” descends to No. 2 after a record 17 weeks atop Global Excl. U.S. beginning in November.

Carín León Earns 7th No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay Chart with “El Amor de Mi Herida”

It’s Lucky No. 7 for Carín León.

The 35-year-old Mexican singer-songwriter and Regional Mexican music superstar has added his seventh No. 1 on Billboard’Regional Mexican Airplay chart with his latest single, “El Amor de Mi Herida.”

“El Amor de Mi Herida” crowns Regional Mexican Airplay after a 40% surge in audience impressions, to 8.2 million, earned in the U.S. during the February 28-March 6 tracking week, according to Luminate.

That swell makes it the Greatest Gainer of the week, a weekly award for the song with the greatest increase in plays at the format.

Before “El Amor de Mi Herida,” León managed six other champs among 13 top 10s and a total of 17 career entries on Regional Mexican Airplay. His breakthrough cut “Me La Aventé” reached No. 6 high in 2019. He has placed at least one top 10 every year since.

“El Amor de Mi Herida” races to No. 1 in four weeks, the fastest for any track this year, and the fastest among all of León’s seven rulers on Regional Mexican Airplay.

The next-fastest climb to No. 1 this year came when Calibre 50 reached the summit in six weeks, through “El Sueño Americano” (chart dated March 1). Four other songs captured the top spot in 2025, all in seven weeks or more.

Bad Bunny Earns 27th No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay Chart with “Baile Inolvidable”

The 30-year-old Puerto Rican Grammy-winning superstar has earned a second No. 1 on Billboard’Latin Airplay chart from his latest album Debí Tirar Más Fotos.

The tropical song follows two-week champ “El Clúb” (February 8-15 charts).

“Baile Inolvidable” rolls into the top spot on the overall Latin Airplay chart thanks to 8.3 million audience impressions earned in the U.S. during the February 14-20 tracking week, according to Luminate.

It scores an 11% boost from the week prior. The song ejects Myke Towers’ “Otra Noche,” featuring Darell, from the lead (falling to No. 2 with 7.8 million audience, down less than 1%)

“El Clúb,” the first single from his No. 1 album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, continues its run in the top 10, falling 4-10.

Meanwhile, Benito has a third song in the region, as his collaboration with Rauw Alejandro, “Que Pasaria…,” jumps 8-4.

Bad Bunny, who first led Latin Airplay in February 2018, has managed to place at least two No. 1s every year since, with 2020 marking his most rewarding year, placing six rulers then.

It also adds a seventh week at No. 2 on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart, which blends airplay, digital sales and streaming data into its formula. There, it takes the Greatest Gainer/Sales honors, with a 2% gain in sales, to 500, which moves it 3-2 on Latin Digital Song Sales.

Not the same luck in streaming activity, as the song registers 11.3 million official U.S. streams, translating to an 11% dip in clicks for the tracking week.

Maluma Earns 13th No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay Chart with “Cosas Pendientes”

The 31-year-old Colombian superstar has earned his 13th No. 1 on Latin Pop Airplay chart with “Cosas Pendientes.”

Calibre 50 Earns Record-Extending 27th No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay Chart with “El Sueño Americano”

The Regional Mexican band, which was formed in Sinaloa, adds a record-extending 27th No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart with “El Sueño Americano.”

“El Sueño Americano” crowns Regional Mexican Airplay with 6.3 million audience impressions earned in the U.S. during the February 14-20 tracking week, according to Luminate; that’s a 15% improvement in audience compared to the week prior.

With its 27th ruler, the band remains the all-time champ on the survey. Banda MS ranks second, with 21 No. 1 hits under its belt.

Calibre 50 also extends its record for the most top 10s among Regional Mexican acts on the overall Latin Airplay chart, where “El Sueño Americano” rises 13-9, its first top 10 visit there, with 6.7 million impressions for the tracking week.

The single is the title track of the group’s El Sueño Americano album released December 2024 on Disa/Andaluz.

Karol G’s “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” Breaks Record for Most Weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay Chart

Only two weeks after entering the record books with an unmatched 26 weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’Latin Airplay chart with “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido,” the 33-year-old Colombian Grammy-winning singer/songwriter has set yet another new record with the smash hit.

“Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido,” released June 21, 2024 via Bichota/Interscope/ICLG, reaches the record despite a 7% decline in audience impressions; that’s 8.8 million earned in the U.S. during the tracking week of January 24-30, according to Luminate.

With 30 weeks at No. 1, Karol ends a historic run for Prince Royce, who previously commanded the chart for 29 weeks when “Carita De Inocente” capped its reign on the October 17, 2020-dated ranking.
