Bad Bunny rules the global music chart yet again…

The 30-year-old Puerto Rican Grammy-winning superstar’s “DtMF” spends a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 songs chart.

Bad BunnyBad Bunny again scores five simultaneous top 10s on the chart, all from his new LP, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, which adds a second week at No. 1 on the U.S.-based Billboard 200 albums chart.

Among his haul of Global 200 top 10s, “EoO” reaches the region for the first time, rising to No. 10.

“DtMF” dominates the Global 200 with 116.7 million streams (down 11% week-over-week) and 2,000 sold (down 25%) worldwide January 17-23.

Bad Bunny also infuses the top 10 with “BAILE INoLVIDABLE,” “NUEVAYoL” and “VOY A LLeVARTE PA PR,” which hold at their respective Nos. 4, 5 and 8 highs, and “EoO” (11-10).

The latter song ups his count to 25 top 10s since the chart began; only Drake (35) and Taylor Swift (33) have more.

Also in the Global 200’s top five, ROSÉ and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” keeps at No. 2, following 11 weeks at No. 1 beginning upon its debut in November, and Lady Gaga and Mars’Die With a Smile” repeats at No. 3, following eight weeks at No. 1 beginning in September.

The Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate. The Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data.

Chart ranks are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts’ calculations.

Bad Bunny’s “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” Claims Second Week at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart

Bad Bunny is still a man on top…

The 30-year-old Puerto Rican Grammy-winning superstar’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos earns a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart dated February 1, earning 151,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending January 23 (down 26%), according to Luminate.

Bad BunnyOf the 151,000 equivalent album units earned by Debí Tirar Más Fotos in the week ending January 23, SEA units comprise 146,000 (down 25%; equaling 198.78 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs; it’s No. 1 for a third week on Top Streaming Albums), album sales comprise 4,000 (down 46%; falling 8-11 on Top Album Sales) and TEA units comprise 1,000 (down 30%).

Of Bad Bunny’s four chart-topping albums, it’s the second to spend more than a single week at No. 1; his 2022 set, Un Verano Sin Ti, has collected the most weeks atop the list, with 13 weeks, non-consecutively.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album.

Karol G Breaks Record for Most Weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay Chart with “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido”

Karol G is officially in a league of her own…

The 33-year-old Colombian Grammy-winning singer/songwriter’s “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” adds a 26th week at No. 1 on Billboard’s overall Latin Airplay chart dated January 25, breaking the record for the most weeks among all songs since the list launched in 1994.

Karol GThe merengue track surpasses the 25-week domination by Shakira’s “La Tortura,” featuring Alejandro Sanz, a record the song held since November 2005, when it outdid the 20-week mark by Son By Four’s “A Puro Dolor.”

“Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido,” released June 21, 2024, also remains as the top performer on the Tropical Airplay chart, where it has led the list for 28 weeks (of its total 31 weeks on the chart).

Karol G might also set a new record on the tropical ranking, as she is one week away from tying Prince Royce‘s record of 29 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 with “Carita de Inocente” in 2020. (It stepped aside for one week during its run atop the list, when Kyen?Es? sneaked-out one week atop the chart with “El Carnaval de Celia: A Tribute (La Vida Es Un Carnaval/ La Negra Tiene…)” in September 2020.

“Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido,” commands both Latin Airplay and Tropical Airplay despite a 13% decline in audience impressions, to 10 million, earned during the Jan. 10-16 tracking week in the U.S., according to Luminate.

The global hit gave Karol G her 18th No. 1 on the overall Latin radio ranking when it landed at the summit last July, the second-most among women, just behind Shakira who continues at the helm with 24 champs.

While “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” spent its last week on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart on the January 11-dated list (due to the colossal take over by Bad Bunny’s new album), it also left a mark in 2024, tying with Xavi’s “La Diabla” and FloyyMenor and Cris MJ’s “Gata Only” for the most weeks at No. 1, all with 14 weeks at the summit.

Further, in addition to “Qlona,” with Peso Pluma (No. 5), Karol’s “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” became only the second song by a female artist to close in the top 10 on the year-end Hot Latin Songs chart in 2024, at No. 8.

Bad Bunny’s “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” Rises to No. 1 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart

Bad Bunny has reached the summit once again…

Following its first full week of activity, the 30-year-old Puerto Rican Grammy-winning superstar’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos climbs 2-1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart dated January 25, scoring Bad Bunny his fourth leader on the list.

Bad BunnyBad Bunny’s album was released on an off-cycle Sunday (Jan. 5), and, thus, it arrived on the chart a week ago with only five days of activity (as the chart’s tracking week runs Friday through Thursday).

In the tracking week ending January 16, Debí Tirar Más Fotos earned 203,500 equivalent album units (up 67%) in the U.S., according to Luminate — largely driven by streaming activity.

The set was only available as a standard 17-song streaming album, and as a digital download for purchase (widely through all digital retailers, as well as Bad Bunny’s official webstore). Traditional album sales drove just under 8,000 of the album’s activity for the week.

Bad Bunny previously led the Billboard 200 with Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana (in 2023), Un Verano Sin Ti (2022) and El Último Tour del Mundo (2020)

Of Debí Tirar Más Fotos’ 203,500 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Jan. 16, SEA units comprise 195,000 (up 72%, equaling 264.03 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs; it holds at No. 1 on the Top Streaming Albums chart for a second week), traditional album sales comprise 7,500 (down 3%, falling 6-8 on Top Album Sales) and TEA units comprise 1,000 (up 123%).

The 264.03 million streams of the album’s songs mark the largest streaming week for any album since Kendrick Lamar’s GNX arrived with 379.72 million (Dec. 7, 2024 chart), and the largest for any Latin music album since Bad Bunny’s own Un Verano Sin Ti debuted with 356.55 million (May 21, 2022 chart).

Like in its opening chart week, Debí Tirar Más Fotos was sale priced for $4.99 in the iTunes Store, as well as in Bunny’s webstore.

As Debí Tirar Más Fotos is mostly in the Spanish language, it is the 28th mostly non-English-language album to hit No. 1, and the first of 2025. Four mostly non-English titles topped the list in 2024, and all were Korean-language efforts. Of the 28 mostly non-English-language albums to reach No. 1, 18 are mostly Korean, six mostly (or all) Spanish, one mostly Italian, one entirely French and two mostly a blend of Spanish, Italian and French.

Alejandro Fernández’s “No Me Sé Rajar” Rises to No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay Chart

Alejandro Fernández is starting 2025 with a bang!

The 53-year-old Mexican singer claims the first new No. 1 of the new year on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart as “No Me Sé Rajar” advances 3-1 to lead the January 18-dated ranking.

Alejandro Fernández,“No Me Sé Rajar” was originally written by Mexican guitarist and composer José Carmen Frayle Castañón in 1981 and recorded by the late Vicente Fernández, Alejandro’s father.

The new version of the song, a more modern take to the original mariachi tune, was produced by Eden Muñoz and released by Alejandro Fernández on October 25 on Universal Music Latino/UMLE.

The song’s coronation on Regional Mexican Airplay comes after a 14% gain in audience impressions, to 7.7 million, logged in the tracking week of Jan. 3-9, according to Luminate.

Thanks to the surge, Fernández adds an 11th No. 1 among 30 total entries since the tally begun in 1994. He extends his third-most champs streak among soloists, behind Christian Nodal (17 No. 1s) and Gerardo Ortiz (13).

Notably, out of Fernández’s 30 career entries on Regional Mexican Airplay, all his No. 1s have arrived in the 2020s decade, dating back to the one-week ruler “Caballero” in January 2020. With 11 rulers since, he claims the record for the most No. 1s by a solo artist this decade.

While Vicente Fernández’s version of “No Me Sé Rajar” didn’t make it to the charts as it was released before the 31-year-old ranking launched, the late mariachi star scored seven No. 1s among his 47 entries on Regional Mexican Airplay, dating to “Nos Estorbo La Ropa” in 1998 and placing his last champ with “El Último Beso” in 2009.

“No Me Sé Rajar” also gains territory on the overall Latin Airplay ranking, where it jumps 5-3 with a 10% gain in impressions, to 8 million.

Bad Bunny’s “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” Becomes His Ninth Consecutive No. 1 Album on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums Chart

Bad Bunny has another Latin chart-topping album on his hands…

The 30-year-old Puerto Rican Grammy-winning superstar has logged his ninth straight No. 1 project on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart as DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS debuts atop the January 18-dated list.

Bad BunnyThe 17-track set also opens at No. 2 on the overall Billboard 200, No. 1 on the Top Streaming Albums, and No. 1 on the Latin Rhythm Albums charts.

DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS launches at No. 1 on Top Latin Albums with 122,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. during the January 3-9 tracking week, according to Luminate.

The set was released on January 5 via Rimas Entertainment, two days after the beginning of the tracking week which runs weekly Friday through Thursday. Thus, it arrives with five days of activity instead of the usual seven days.

DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS was available via streamers and through download services to purchase.

The download version available on Benito’s webstore and the iTunes Store for $4.99. A physical version of the album has not been released. Of the album’s starting total, 8,000 units come from album sales, enough for a No. 6 start on the overall Top Album Sales chart.

The set is the only Latin album to appear on the chart’s top 10 since Ivan Cornejo’s Mirada debuted at No. 9 with 9,000 copies sold in August 2024.

Streaming activity contributes 113,500 units which represents 152.6 million official on-demand streams of the 17 songs on the album. The sum yields the largest streaming week for a Latin album in over a year, since Bad Bunny’s own Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana launched at No. 1 on Top Streaming Albums with 239.56 million on-demand official streams for its songs (Oct.ober 28, 2023-dated chart). Track-equivalent album units comprise the remaining 500 units of DeBÍ’s first week sum.

With DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, Bad Bunny lands his ninth straight No. 1 on Top Latin Albums, the entirety of his charting releases. The streak began with 2019’s X100PRE which led for 46 weeks. That same year, Benito scored his second champ through the J Balvin-jointed set Oasis (eight weeks atop). YHLQMDLG, however, became his most profitable project to date, with 70 weeks at No. 1, the longest-leading album overall since Top Latin Albums begun in 1993.
