Natti Natasha is bringing the wow

The 35-year-old Dominican singer has teamed up with El Alfa and Chimbala – two pioneers of the dembow movement – to release the new single “WOW BB.”

Natti NatashaThe flirtatious track, produced by B-One, DJ Luian, Mambo Kingz and Raphy Pina, is a playful dembow track about two men who are trying to swoon the same girl.

She, however, is independent and unimpressed by their coquetry.

More than a great summer anthem, “WOW BB” flaunts pure Dominican power as the three artists unite their distinct vocals and flow.

The three artists officially debuted the song on television at the 2022 Premio Lo Nuestro.

J Balvin to Co-Headline ‘Sueños,’ Chicago’s New Reggaeton & Latin Trap Festival

J Balvin is livin’ the sueño(s)…

The 36-year-old Colombian singer and rapper will co-headline Sueños, a new reggaeton and Latin trap festival in Chicago.

J Balvin

J Balvin will co-headline with Ozuna and Wisin y Yandel, when the festival takes place during Memorial Day Weekend (May 28-29).

The first-ever edition of Sueños — presented by the producers behind Baja Beach Fest and Lollapalooza, respectively, and Chicago’s Reventon Promotions —  will also include sets by artists like Myke Towers, El Alfa, Tokischa, Sech, Natanael Cano, Fuerza Regida, Jhay Cortez, Blessd, Jowell & Randy, and DJ Luian.

“We’re honored to work with the producers of Lollapalooza and Reventon to bring a premier Latin festival to Grant Park in Chicago,” said Aaron Ampudia of Baja Beach Fest. “Reggaetón is a massive genre, but remains underserved by live festivals in the U.S. We’re extremely proud to expand to the US and serve our community and everyone who enjoys Latin music.”

Reventon Promotions’ Enrique Medrano added: ”Over a decade ago, I started Reventon Promotions with a dream of bringing authentic and diverse Hispanic entertainment to Chicago. Now I am excited and proud to be part of the first Sueños festival, an event that celebrates the Hispanic presence in the city, in addition to being held in the iconic and representative Grant Park right in the heart of downtown. What better place is there for thousands of people from different Latin American countries to meet, share, and celebrate with artists of the likes of J Balvin, Ozuna, and many more.”

Sueños’ inaugural edition will be the first of two back-to-back reggaeton festivals set to take place for the first time ever in Chicago over the summer.

The also new Más Flow three-day reggaeton fest — featuring headliners Don Omar and Ivy Queen — is confirmed for July 15 to July 17, and produced by Grass Root Events, a local production company.

Sueños and Más Flow join Chicago’s very own Ruido Fest, a Latin alternative music festival that launched in 2015, as the third and second Latinx music festivals to find a home in the Midwestern city, where Latinos are now the second-largest racial or ethnic group, growing by 5%  from roughly 779,000 in 2010 to nearly 820,000 in 2020, according to census data.

Tickets for Sueños will be available via pre-sale beginning Friday, February 11, at 1:00 pm ET with the official on-sale launching at 3:00 pm at www.suenosmusicfestival.com.

Nicky Jam Teams Up with Romeo Santos for Hypnotic Reggaeton Track “Fan de Tus Fotos

It’s a special Aventura for Nicky Jam

The 39-year-old Puerto Rican & Dominican American Latin trap and reggaeton singer/songwriter has joined voices with former-Aventura-member-turned-bachata-superstar Romeo Santos for “Fan de Tus Fotos,” a hypnotic reggaeton track that finds both men daydreaming over their boss, who they think has been sending them mixed messages.

But as it turns out, they’ve been imagining things, and their distractedness gets them in some serious trouble at the office. “I’m like a fan just looking at your photos. I’m going crazy thinking I can touch you,” the pair sing.

It’s not the first time Nicky Jam and Santos have teamed up.

Back in 2017, they released the Daddy Yankee-assisted “Bella Y Sensual,” which peaked at No. 6 on Billboard‘s Hot Latin Songs chart (dated January 2, 2018).

Earlier this year, Nicky Jam made his debut as talk show host in his new interview-style project titled The Rockstar Show, streamed on YouTube. His first episode featured Colombian superstar Maluma and other guests have included El Alfa and Karol G.

During his interview with Karol G, he announced a new album dropping this year. “I’m really happy, I think this will be my best album,” he shared.

For Camilo, who nabbed his first Latin Grammy and Grammy nominations this year, “El Rincón de La Tribu” is a meeting point for him and his fans.

“It’s much closer to being a face-to-face conversation where we discuss humanistic themes, anecdotes that are shared in an atmosphere of trust, and where love is the grandest revolution,” he said in an official statement.

The podcast officially kicked off on NovEMBER 23, just four days after Camilo won best pop song for “TuTu” at the Latin Grammys, with an episode called “Secret Anecdotes of the Latin Grammys.”

Other episodes that have already aired include how his bachata hit “Bebé” in collaboration with El Alfa was born and conversations with his wife, actress and singer, Evaluna Montaner.

La Tribu will also enjoy curated songs recorded by Camilo and other artists, alongside his personal commentary.

For his new single, the Latin Grammy-winning artist joined voices with El Alfa, one of the Dominican Republic’s biggest artists, to bring this fresh tune to life.

The melody fuses traditional guitar riffs found in bachata with a hint of urban.

“I approach music from my imagination, from what my heart asks of me, and right now what it wants is to dance with someone really close,” Camilo expressed.

“‘Bebe’ is a tribute to the sound that represents this song with the special affection I feel for the Dominican Republic, a country I love with all my heart.”

Co-directed by Evaluna Montaner and Cristian Saumeth, the music video was filmed in Samaná, Las Galeras, and Las Terrenas in the Dominican Republic.

Camilo picked up his first-ever Grammy nomination earlier this week.
