Fuerza Regida Announces 37-Date “Pero No Te Enamores” Arena Tour of U.S. & Mexico

Fuerza Regida is hittin’ the road…

The Mexican American regional Mexican band will trek across the U.S. and Mexico for a 37-date arena tour called Pero No Te Enamores, which follows their successful Otra Peda tour last year.

Fuerza RegidaThe five-piece band from San Bernardino, California, will kick off its summer stint on June 6, starting in Austin, Texas, at the Moody Center.

Fuerza Regida will also make stops in Oklahoma City; Kansas City, Missouri.; San Diego; Phoenix; Portland; Dallas; Atlanta; Salt Lake City; Anaheim, California and more.

They will also hit up Mexico and perform in Monterrey, Mexico City and Oaxaca, and will wrap up in Inglewood, Calif., at the Intuit Dome on November 16.

The tour announcement comes on the heels of the group’s latest EP, Dolido Pero No Arrepentido, which dropped on February 9, followed by the single “Money Edition” with Edén Muñoz.

The EP debuted in the top 10 of the Top Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Albums charts; plus, every song on the album premiered on Hot Latin Songs.

In the 2023 year-end charts, Fuerza Regida made Billboard history by becoming the first Latin band to be No. 1 on the Top Artists – Duo/Group list, followed by Grupo Frontera and Fleetwood Mac. (Previous No. 1 artists on the list have included Destiny’s Child, Green Day, The Black Eyed Peas, One Direction, Jonas Brothers and BTS.) The group also won at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards for Top Duo/Group and Top Latin Duo/Group.

“I’m speechless, really. Coming from where we come from, not many people get out [of the hood], whether they get out alive, are dead, or go to jail,” frontman Jesús Ortiz Paz told Billboard Español in December. “I just have to say that I am grateful to God, and to all my family, my mom, my dad, and all my friends. If it wasn’t for everyone’s help, and also the fans, we wouldn’t be here. Fuerza Regida and I are in charge of continuing to give [fans] great music and, God willing, I will continue to give until the last straw.”

The U.S. dates are produced by Live Nation. General on sale tickets will be available beginning on Friday, April 12, at 10 am local time at livenation.com.

Nathan Apodaca Skateboards Through Joe Biden & Kamala Harris’ “Parade Across America”

Nathan Apodaca’s Dream(s) moment continues…

The 38-year-old Mexican-Native American TikTok star (aka DoggFace) displayed the moves that made him go viral on the social media platform, this time as part of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala HarrisParade Across America special — hosted by former Scandal star Tony Goldwyn — part of the Inauguration Day festivities, on January 20.

Nathan Apodaca

Apodaca’s new video started with him once again smoothly skateboarding to Fleetwood Mac‘s 1977 hit “Dreams.” Only this time, instead of cruising with a big bottle of Ocean Spray cran-raspberry juice, he had a small U.S. flag in his left hand and a face mask on as he skateboarded around snowy roads in his native Idaho.

Apodaca — whose viral video has received Fleetwood Mac‘s stamp of approval and more than 12.5 million likes since being posted in September — wasn’t the only one rolling around in the clip.

True to the name of the inauguration special, the video also featured Americans from across the country — including Michigan, California, D.C., Massachusetts, Colorado, New York, and more — smoothly skating to “Dreams” in their own states. Like Apodaca, some skateboarders were holding little flags, while others opted to stay true to the original and went with his beverage of choice.

The Parade Across America special also featured appearances by Jon Stewart, a reunion by the New Radicals, DJ Cassidy‘s Pass the Mic, and others. It was just one part of the star-studded Inauguration Day events, which included performances by Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Garth Brooks earlier in the day.

“The Fans’ Choice Award for Best Concert Tour of the Year is the only award determined by fan voting and Eventful is thrilled to power this award and give the fans a say in this prestigious industry event,” said Jordan Glazier, Eventful’s CEO.

The 10th Annual Billboard Touring Awards, which are primarily based on box office numbers reported to Billboard Boxscore from October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013,will take place on November 14 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York.

“The live music industry remains on a strong growth path, in large part due to the effort and creativity of the tours, artists, venues, events, executives and companies represented as finalists for the Billboard Touring Awards,” says Billboard‘s Ray Waddell. “By basing the majority of these awards on Boxscore data, as opposed to some sort of popular vote, the Billboard Touring Awards has, over the past decade, been the true mark of achievement in the live music space.”
