Fuerza Regida Extending “This Is Our Dream Tour” with Second Leg Across U.S.

The dream continues for Fuerza Regida.

The Regional Mexican band is extending its This Is Our Dream Tour with a second leg across the U.S., the band announced on Monday, August 10.

Fuerza RegidaPromoted by Live Nation, the 10-date run will begin on October 3 at Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Ill., and concludes on November 2 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo.

The new dates will take the música mexicana group from San Bernardino, Calif., to amphitheaters and arenas in other markets, including Charlotte, N.C.; Atlanta; Birmingham, Ala.; Albuquerque, N.M.; Bakersfield and Fresno in California; and West Valley City, Utah.

The announcement follows the conclusion of Fuerza Regida’s historic U.S. stadium tour, which wrapped on August 7 at New York’s Citi Field.

The first leg included sold-out shows at Petco Park in San Diego, Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and Daikin Park in Houston, with surprise appearances from artists including 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks, Bobby Shmurda, Fenix Flexin, J Balvin, YG, Marshmello, Chino Pacas, Clave Especial, Calle 24, Chuyín and lucha libre star Rey Mysterio.

The stadium run added to a series of milestones for Fuerza Regida, whose 2025 album 111XPANTIA debuted at No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard 200, the highest chart position for a música mexicana album to date.

The group has also received Grammy, American Music Award, iHeartRadio Music Award, Latin Grammy and Billboard Latin Music Award recognition in the past year.

This year, the band is set to make a headlining Q&A appearance at Billboard Latin Music Week.

Fuerza Regida’s second-leg tickets will go on sale Friday, August 14 at 10:00 a.m. local time. The artist presale begins Wednesday, August 12 at 10:00 a.m. local time; a Verizon presale begins Tuesday, August 11 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by Spotify and Citi presales at noon. VIP packages will also be available.

Calle 24 Earns First Billboard No. 1 with Fuerza Regida-Collaboration “Noche Perfecta”

Calle 24 is celebrating a perfect night…

The 23-year-old Mexican artist, whose real name is Diego Millán, has earned his first Billboard No. 1 with the Fuerza Regida-collaboration “Noche Perfecta,” as the song climbs 4-1 on the overall Latin Airplay chart dated August 8.

The track also leads Regional Mexican Airplay chart, rising 2-1.

“Damn… imagine, I’m going crazy!” Millán, known by his stage name Calle 24, shared with Billboard from his dressing room before taking the stage in Riverside, California. “I have a show that, God willing, will be sold out, and then I get the news that I’ve hit Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart at No. 1! It’s one thing for someone to tell you, ‘You made it onto the chart,’ and you’re at No. 50, 10 or 5… but No. 1? No way!”

“Noche Perfecta” is the fifth Billboard-charting partnership between the label mates but first to earn a joint No. 1.

Released April 9 on Street Mob Records as part of Calle 24’s album, Eterno, the song gave Millán his first radio-chart entry when it debuted on both the Regional Mexican Airplay and Latin Airplay charts in May and June, respectively.

It rises to the summit on both rankings after a 12% growth in audience impressions, to 6.9 million, earned during the tracking week ending July 30, according to Luminate.

“The magic of the old-school regional Mexican sound, you know?” Millán adds about his latest collaboration with Fuerza Regida. “That’s it my people—the signature of classic regional Mexican music, that accordion sound. That music will never disappear, even as new genres emerge. I feel that’s what connected with people, along with talking about love. Love is everything in life.”

Previous collaborations with Fuerza Regida performed better on streaming-based charts. Dating to Calle 24’s first Billboard-chart appearance in 2021, the 23-year-old has placed five other pairings on the hybrid Hot Latin Songs chart, which mixes streams, digital sales and radio airplay into its formula. Among them, “Que Onda,” which also features Chino Pacas, earned Millán his first top 10 on the list, reaching No. 5 in late 2023.

While Regida achieves its fifth No. 1 on Latin Airplay, the group adds a 20th top 10 on Hot Latin Songs, where “Noche Perfecta” jumps 11-10, thanks to its radio haul and streaming activity during the tracking week. The move places Regida into a tie with Intocable and Los Tigres del Norte for the most top 10s among Regional Mexican groups since the chart began 1986.

Elsewhere, “Noche Perfecta” takes Calle 24 to a new peak on the Hot Regional Mexican Songs chart, to No. 4 —his second top 10. Regida collects its 14th top 10—the most since the ranking launched in April 2025.

Arcangel to Perform on This Year’s Latin American Music Awards Show

Arcangel is preparing to take to the Latin AMAs stage…

The 38-year-old Dominican American rapper and singer has been added to the performers list for the ninth annual Latin American Music Awards.

ArcángelArcangel appears on the roster of recently added performers that includes Jennifer Nettles, KY-Mani Marley, Mora, Noel Schajris, Sech, Silvestre Dangond and Wisin.

The gala will take place on April 25 live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Actors Danny Pino and Michael Mando in addition to superstars Christian Chávez, Eslabon Armado, Joss Favela and Kali Uchis are all set to present awards.

DJ Steve Aoki and Victoria Justice will also make appearances.

This long list of talent joins previously announced performers: Peso Pluma, Farukko, Jay Wheeler, Justin Quiles, DJ Deorro, Yng Lvcas, Gabito Ballesteros, Marc Anthony, Carin León, Chino Pacas, Lenny Tavárez, Milo Beat, Nacho, Sergio George, Venesti and Zhamira Zambrano.

Anthony is set to premiere his new single “Ale Ale,” from his upcoming album Muevense, which is set to be released on April 26. He has won two Latin AMAs, and this year is nominated for best tropical artist and best tropical collaboration for “La Fórmula” with Maluma.

“I am really excited to have the opportunity of presenting the global premiere of my new song ‘Ale, Ale’ on live television at this year’s Latin American Music Awards, and on that same evening release my new studio album Muevense,” said Anthony in a statement. “The Latin AMAs stage has seen many of my firsts and I am ready to introduce this one to audiences everywhere.”

Mexican music’s big year will be well represented at the awards show this year with appearances by bubbling acts including León, Pacas, Ballesteros and Peso, who returns to the Latin AMA stage after making his TV debut there last year.

Peso, along with reggaeton star Feid, is the most nominated artist of the night with 12 recognitions, including nods in coveted categories like artist of the year, new artist of the year, song of the year, album of the year, and collaboration of the year, among others.

Behind Peso and Feid, Bad Bunny and Grupo Frontera lead the nominations list with 11 each. Karol G and Shakira each tout nine nominations, and Eslabon Armado and Fuerza Regida have eight.

There are 27 categories, with a total of 76 nominees that span all musical genres including pop, urban, música Mexicana and tropical.

The awards show will be hosted by Latin pop phenom Thalia, along with presenter Alejandra Espinoza, and singer-songwriter and television personality Carlos Ponce.

The show will broadcast live from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Fuerza Regida is celebrating “las baby’s”…

The Mexican American Regional Mexican band has released its eighth studio album Pa’ las Baby’s y Belikeada.

Her high-heeled footsteps echo in the background as she appears to pick up a machine gun, effortlessly blending sensuality with outlaw imagery, creating an intriguing juxtaposition.

Across an expansive 30-track journey, the San Bernardino, California troupe embarks on a daring and audacious expedition, fearlessly delving into the realm of corridos bélicos with a distinctive drill influence.

The album serves as a testament to the group’s evolution as they immerse themselves in la belikeada movement, embracing the realm of excess in all forms: women, power, wealth.

They deliver the expected corridos alterados, this time complete with menacing accordion arrangements; and the inclusion of tracks like “Zona de Comfort” adds a touch of cumbia sabrosura to the mix.

Known for their chart-topping prowess, the group also features their previous hits like “TQM” and “Sabor Fresa.” The album’s lyrical themes stay true to their rags-to-riches narrative (“FVDP”), reminding us of the hard-fought journey to success. However, Pa’ las Baby’s also ventures into unexpected territories. “Harley Quinn” sees them collaborating with Marshmello, infusing EDM elements into música mexicana, while “Freaky Freaky” (featuring Calle 24 and Armenta) brings reggaetón rhythms. JOP even switches to English for the sinister drill number “Dafuk,” showcasing the group’s versatility.
