Mariah Carey Rises to No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay Chart with “In Your Feelings”

Mariah Carey is all in her feelings after earning another chart-topper…

The 56-year-old half-Venezuelan American Grammy-winning singer’s 2025 single “In Your Feelings” rises from the runner-up spot to crown Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart dated December 27.

Mariah Carey

The track, released and promoted through MARIAH/gamma., ascends as the most-played on U.S. panel-contributing adult R&B radio stations for December 12-18, according to Luminate.

It improved 19% in plays compared to the previous week and wins the Greatest Gainer honor for the list’s largest increase.

With “In Your Feelings,” Carey celebrates a fourth Adult R&B Airplay No. 1. She first claimed the summit via “We Belong Together,” which stitched an eight-week rule in 2005, and followed with six-week champ “Fly Like a Bird” the following year.

After that pair, she closed a 19-year gap between leaders when “Type Dangerous” scored three weeks in charge this August. (She first topped many Billboard tallies when her debut, “Vision of Love,” led the Hot 100 and Adult Contemporary charts dated August 4, 1990.)

“We Belong Together” and “Fly Like a Bird” are from Carey’s 2005 album, The Emancipation of Mimi, while “Type Dangerous” and “In Your Feelings” appear on her latest project, Here for It All.

The set was released in September and debuted at No. 1 on the Top R&B Albums chart.

Plus, as Carey had two other Adult R&B Airplay hits — “Shake It Off” (No. 6) and “Don’t Forget About Us” (No. 12) — in between the “We Belong Together” and “Fly Like a Bird” coronations, the “Type Dangerous”/“In Your Feelings” combo marks her first linking of consecutive leaders on the list.

Elsewhere, “In Your Feelings” pushes 17-12 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, which ranks songs from combined audience totals from adult R&B and mainstream R&B/hip-hop radio stations. There, it improved to 5.5 million in audience, up 21% from the prior week’s total, and captures the chart’s Greatest Gainer prize.

Carlos Santana’s lifetime of achievements is being recognized…

The Recording Academy has announced the recipients of its 2026 Special Merit Awards, with the 78-year-old Mexican guitarist and founding member of the rock band Santana to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Carlos Santana

For nearly six decades, Santana has been a pioneering force in music, fusing Afro-Latin, blues, rock, and jazz into a sound that transcends genre, culture and generation. He and his band were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. They made Grammy history in 2000, receiving eight Grammys in a single night, tying Michael Jackson for the single-year Grammy record. Their haul included album of the year for Supernatural and record of the year for “Smooth,” a propulsive smash featuring Rob Thomas.

A 10-time Grammy and three-time Latin Grammy winner, Santana received Billboard‘s Century Award in 1996 and the Kennedy Center Honors in 2013.

His Las Vegas residency at House of Blues is now in its 14th year.

Santana will receive the lifetime achievement award alongside fellow honorees Chaka KhanCher, Fela KutiPaul Simon and Whitney Houston.

Lifetime Achievement Awards are presented to performers who have made creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the field of recording. “It’s a true honor to recognize this year’s Special Merit Award recipients — an extraordinary group whose influence spans generations, genres and the very foundation of modern music,” Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Recording Academy, said in a statement. “Each of these honorees has made a profound and lasting impact, and we look forward to celebrating their remarkable achievements.”

The ceremony will be held at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday January 31, the afternoon before the 68th annual Grammy Awards at Crypto.com Arena in downtown L.A.

Jay Wheeler Earns First No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay Chart with Morat-Collab “Sin Ti”

It’s a special first for Jay Wheeler

The 31-year-old Puerto Rican singer and songwriter has earned his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay chart with “Sin Ti,” his collaboration with Morat.

Jay Wheeler

The track leaps from No. 4 to the top spot, earning the week’s Greatest Gainer honors, which recognize the song with the largest increase in audience impressions.

“Sin Ti” advances after a 56% gain across U.S. Latin pop radio, to 7.1 million, earned during the tracking period.

This marks Wheeler’s maiden No. 1.

Previously, the Puerto Rican came closest through “Extrañándote,” with wife Zhamira Zambrano, which peaked at No. 3 in 2024.

Colombian group Morat, meanwhile, claims its second chart-topper, four months since the pop band earned its first with “Me Toca a Mí,” with Camilo, in August.

The song flies 18-6 on other overall Latin Airplay chart, the highest rank for Wheeler since “Si Te Preguntan,” with Prince Royce and Nicky Jam, in 2022.

Feid is back atop the Billboard charts…

The 33-year-old Colombian singer, songwriter and record producer has added a 12th No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart as “Se Lo Juro Mor” jumps 3-1 on the chart dated December 20.

“Se Lo Juro Mor” leaps 3-1 on the December 5-11 tracking week, fueled by 9.1 million audience impressions in the United States, as reported by Luminate. That’s a 22% surge from the previous week, during which the song garnered 7.4 million impressions.

The new chart-topper brings Feid his 12th No. 1 on Latin Airplay, just three weeks after he claimed his first chart leader through a Karol G collab with her single “Verano Rosa,” one of 15 tracks on her No. 1 album Tropicoqueta.

With this achievement, Feid ties Daddy Yankee and Rauw Alejandro for the sixth-most No. 1s among all acts on Latin Airplay in the 2020s decade, when the Colombian secured his first champ through “Porfa,” with J Balvin, Maluma, Nicky Jam, Sech and Justin Quiles, in August 2020.

Here is that list of winners:

Kirstin Maldonado & Pentatonix Earn First No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary Chart with Frank Sinatra-Collaboration “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm”

Kirstin Maldonado has earned a special first on the Billboard charts.

The 33-year-old Spanish & Mexican American Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and her Pentatonix group mates’ Frank Sinatra collaboration, “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm,” is the new No. 1 song on Billboard’Adult Contemporary chart, surging four spots to the top of the list dated December 20.

Kirstin Maldonado & Pentatonix

The carol, from Pentatonix’s new album, Christmas in the City, marks Pentatonix’s first No. 1 on Adult Contemporary — or any Billboard airplay chart.

Sinatra, who died in 1998, adds his seventh Adult Contemporary No. 1 — and first since the chart dated September 30, 1967, when “The World We Knew (Over and Over)” wrapped a five-week reign. He linked five No. 1s in a row, with that single following “Somethin’ Stupid” with daughter Nancy, “That’s Life,” “Summer Wind” and “Strangers in the Night.” He first led with “It Was a Very Good Year” in February 1966.

For “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm,” the Frank Sinatra Estate allowed Pentatonix to mix its vocals with a previously unreleased vocal take of Sinatra singing the Irving Berlin-penned classic.

“Frank Sinatra is truly the blueprint for vocalists,” Pentatonix’s Scott Hoying tells Billboard. “Being connected to his music is beyond an honor, and we feel endless gratitude for this mind-blowing opportunity. We hope to make the Sinatra family proud and truly honor his culture-altering legacy.”

The Chairman of the Board ends the longest break between Adult Contemporary No. 1s: 58 years, two months and three weeks. He also claims the longest span of ruling the chart: 59 years, 10 months and two weeks, dating to the first week at No. 1 for “It Was a Very Good Year.” Plus, he boasts the longest span of appearing on the list overall: 64 years and five months, as he placed on the inaugural edition dated July 17, 1961.

Sinatra bookends Billboard chart archives, as he sang on the No. 1 song — “I’ll Never Smile Again,” billed as by Tommy Dorsey — on the first nationwide sales chart, the National List of Best Selling Retail Records, published in the July 27, 1940, issue.

Mariah Carey Reclaims Record for Longest Reign on Billboard Hot 100 Chart with “All I Want for Christmas is You”

Mariah Carey is breaking records…

The 56-year-old half-Venezuelan American Grammy-winning singer’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” achieves a record-breaking 20th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, rewriting the mark for the longest reign over the chart’s 67-year history.

Mariah Carey

The song, originally released in 1994, surpasses the No. 1 runs of two hits that led the Hot 100 over one release cycle each: Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” in 2024, and Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, in 2019.

Carey claims the Hot 100’s No. 1 longevity record for a second time — In 1995-96, her and Boyz II Men’s “One Sweet Day” dominated for 16 weeks, a mark that stood on its own for more than 23 years, until it was tied by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito,” featuring Justin Bieber, in 2017, and then passed by “Old Town Road.” (She, thus, breaks the record with a song released before “One Sweet Day.”)

Plus, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” logs its 77th week on the Hot 100, tying Dua Lipa’s “Levitating” as the longest-charted title ever by a woman artist.

A week earlier, “All I Want for Christmas Is You” returned to No. 1 on the Hot 100 to lead in a record-extending seventh holiday season. It arrived on Carey’s album Merry Christmas in November 1994 and, as streaming has grown and holiday music has become more prominent on streaming services’ playlists, it hit the top 10 for the first time in December 2017 and the top five for the first time in the 2018 holiday season. It led at last, prior to the past two weeks, over the holidays in 2019 (for three weeks), 2020 (two), 2021 (three), 2022 (four), 2023 (two) and 2024 (four). (Older holiday songs are eligible to appear on the chart each season.)

“All I Want for Christmas Is You” became Carey’s 19th Hot 100 No. 1, the most among soloists and one away from the Beatles’ overall record 20. It also made Carey the first artist to have ranked at No. 1 on the chart in four distinct decades (1990s, 2000s, ‘10s and ‘20s).

Bad Bunny Tops Billboard’s Top Latin Albums of the 21st Century Chart with “YHLQMDLG”

Bad Bunny has the top album of the century…

The 31-year-old Puerto Rican Grammy-winning superstar’s YHLQMDLG rules as the No. 1 Latin album on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums of the 21st Century chart.

Bad BunnyThe retrospective is based on performance on the Top Latin Albums chart from the start of 2000 through the end of 2024.

The collection, released via Rimas Entertainment, is the longest-running No. 1 in the survey’s 32-year history, with 70 weeks at the summit in 2021-22.

“Thank you all who believed and who continue to believe in me,” Bad Bunny told Billboard in 2020 upon the album’s chart arrival. Echoing the meaning of its title, he said, “I do what I want, and it’s based on feelings. I don’t think about it. I do it for you and for the faith you have in me.”

At the time, Benito’s groundbreaking album became the all-genre Billboard 200’s highest charting all-Spanish-language album and scored the biggest streaming week ever for a Latin album and the largest week for a Latin title since Billboard began tracking albums by equivalent album units in December 2014.

It’s one of four Bad Bunny albums in the Top 10.

Bad Bunny’s debut album, X 100PRE, comes in at No. 3.

The release marked a significant moment in reggaetón and Latin trap music. One of its standout tracks, “MIA,” featuring Drake and produced by DJ Luian, La Paciencia, Mambo Kingz and Tainy, not only ruled Hot Latin Songs for 16 weeks in 2018-19 but also hit No. 5 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.

Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti comes in at No. 6.

With his fourth solo studio album, Bad Bunny set a new record for the biggest streaming week ever for a Latin album — surpassing the debut of his own YHLQMDLG.

On Hot Latin Songs, all 23 of the LP’s tracks charted upon its debut. The latter half of the album embraces Latin alternative sounds, punctuated by guests Bomba Estéreo, Buscabulla and the Marías.

And coming in at No. 10… Bad Bunny’s El Último Tour del Mundo.

It made history as the first all-Spanish-language release to claim the No. 1 spot on the overall Billboard 200 since its inception in 1956. The concept album that sees Benito experimenting with alternative sounds arrived as a surprise drop on November 26, 2020, at 11 p.m. ET (marking the end of Thanksgiving Day in the United States). The set houses the enduring “Dakiti,” with Jhayco, a 27-week No. 1 on Hot Latin Songs.
