Tini Working on “Mienteme” Remix

Tini is (re)mixing things up…

Less than a month after dropping her urban-infused cumbia “Mienteme,” in collaboration with Argentine newcomer Maria Becerra, the 24-year-old Argentine actress, singer, songwriter, dancer and model has revealed that she has a remix on the way.

Tini revealed the news during a Billboard Live interview via Instagram on Wednesday, saying, “Yes, a remix is coming at some point,” after being asked which artists would be ideal to jump on the song.

“If I said names it was going to be too obvious. So I prefer not to say anything at all and have it be a surprise,” she said.

After joining forces with artists like Alejandro Sanz, Karol G and Sebastian Yatra, Tini also announced that more collaborations are coming, including one with Manuel Turizo.

“These features mean so much to me because I’m growing a lot as an artist,” she noted.

Her dream collabs are Justin Bieber, Rauw Alejandro, Ariana Grande and Daddy Yankee, whom she’s been a fan of since she was little.

“Most probably a new album will drop this year. I have a lot of desire for that,” she added. “I don’t want time to pass because these songs that I’m writing represent the moment of my life that I’m living. The best thing would be to release them in an album and show my fans this new stage of my life.”

Luis Fonsi’s Rauw Alejandro-Collaboration “Vacio” Reaches No. 1 on Billboard Latin Airplay Chart

It’s a tweener moment for Luis Fonsi

The 43-year-old Puerto Rican singer’s collaboration with Rauw Alejandro, “Vacio,” rises 3-1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart dated May 29.

Luis Fonsi & Rauw Alejandro

It’s the 12th No. 1 for Luis Fonsi and the fifth for Rauw Alejandro.

“Vacío” was released on February 19 and reigns on the all-Latin genre chart in its 13th week with 10.2 million in audience impressions, up 18%, earned in the week ending May 23, according to MRC Data. That’s a 1.5 million increase in audience from the previous week.

“I’m very grateful that the audience continues to embrace every song I release,” Fonsi tells Billboard. “Having another No. 1 song is not something I take for granted, ever. I work very hard every day to produce the best music I can, and I’m just so happy it’s so well received, and that I’m able to do it with producers and artists that I admire, in this case with Rauw Alejandro who brought his unique talent and flow to the song.”

Luis Fonsi collects his 12th Latin Airplay No. 1 and first since 2019 when “Date La Vuelta,” with Sebastián Yatra and Nicky Jam, ruled for one week. Alejandro nabs his fifth, three of which just arrived in 2021.

“I feel honored to have worked with the maestro Luis Fonsi,” Rauw tells Billboard. “’Vacío’ is a song that allows us to express that bizarre feeling of when one wants to be with someone but it’s unable to. I’m super grateful to be part of this project and even more, to the fans who made it No. 1.”

David Bisbal to Launch U.S. Leg of “En Tus Planes Tour” in September

David Bisbal is hoping he’ll appear in your plans

After postponing his 2020 tour dates, the 41-year-old Spanish singer is hitting the road for his 2021 En Tus Planes trek that is set to kick off September 30 at The Fillmore in Miami.

Billboard caught up with the Spanish star earlier this year at the Latin AMAs, where he talked about his unprecedented song with Underwood. “The song was part of one of my projects and when I discovered the power ‘Tears of Gold’ had, I knew it needed a powerful voice,” he explained. “That’s why we got in touch with Carrie’s team. She said yes from the very beginning and I’m very grateful for that. In fact, it was her idea to sing some of her parts in Spanish.”

Ricky Martin & Enrique Iglesias Officially Kicking Off Highly Awaited Co-Headlining Tour This Fall

It’s déjà vu for Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias.

The 49-year-old Puerto Rican superstar and the 46-year-old Spanish superstar are officially kicking off their highly awaited co-headlining tour this fall.

Enrique Iglesias & Ricky Martin

The 26-date North America tour is confirmed to kick off September 25 At Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena and wrap up on November 20 at Anaheim’s Honda Center. The iconic pop stars will also visit fans in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and more.

Colombian star Sebastian Yatra will perform as a special guest on the trek in select cities.

“To say we are going on tour has lifted all of our spirits after the profoundly difficult year the world has gone through and still is,” Martin said in a statement. “Myself and my entire crew are very excited to bring our best live show safely all over the U.S. and Canada, and let the music bring the healing power and happiness that we all need.”

Iglesias and Martin first announced they were going to tour together in early March 2020, just weeks before the global pandemic shut down much of the world.

“I thought this would happen some time, but didn’t know when,” Iglesias said at a press conference last year, while Yatra called the invitation to join the tour the “most surreal moment in my life.” “If I didn’t have the chance to be on stage, I would buy a ticket to see you,” Yatra told his new tour mates. “I visualized this in my life. They are two of my biggest idols.”

Tickets for new dates go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. local time on Friday, May 14, via Ticketmaster. All previously purchased tickets will be valid for the corresponding rescheduled dates listed below. A limited number of LaneOne Premium Packages will also be available.

Luis Fonsi Earns Ninth No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay Chart with Rauw Alejandro-Collab “Vacío”

Luis Fonsi is on Cloud Nine

The 43-year-old Puerto Rican singer’s single “Vacío” featuring Rauw Alejandro takes over the top spot on BillboardLatin Pop Airplay chart as the song rises from No. 3 on the May 8-dated survey.

Luis Fonsi & Rauw Alejandro

The song jumps 3-1 boosted by a 21% lift in audience impressions, to 6.7 million, earned in the week ending May 2, according to MRC Data.

Luis Fonsi earns his ninth No. 1 on the chart after “Perfecta” with Farruko reigned for two weeks starting in December 2020.

Rauw picks up his third, and second of the year, following “Baila Conmigo,” his two-week champ alongside Selena Gómez (March 13-dated list).

“Vacío” is the fourth male co-billed duet to top BillboardLatin Pop Airplay chart in 2021, one of which, as previously mentioned, also includes Luis Fonsi: “Perfecta,” with Farruko (Jan. 2).

In between, two other dual male pairings took the crown: Ozuna and Camilo’s “Despeinada” (four weeks starting Jan. 9-dated list) and Sebastian Yatra and Guaynaa’s “Chica Ideal” (three-week champ starting February 2).

“Vacío” is among a handful of songs of late to find reception among both Latin pop and Latin rhythmic audiences and radio. It continues its ascent on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart (9-7) to become the fifth Latin pop song No. 1 of 2021 to make it to the top 10 of the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart, following four other titles which led Latin Pop Airplay before: Ozuna and Camilo’s “Despeinada,” Sebastian Yatra and Guaynaa’s “Chica Ideal,” Selena Gomez and Rauw Alejandro’s “Baila Conmigo” and Karol G, Anuel AA and J Balvin’s “Location.”

“Vacío” concurrently enters the top 10 on the all-genre Latin Airplay chart with a 14-9 hike. Luis Fonsi ups his career count to 19 top 10s, while Rauw clams his sixth. “Vacío” was written by Fonsi, Andres TorresMauricio RengifoOmar Alfanno and Rauw.

Mana Releases Revamped Version of “Eres Mi Religion” Featuring Jesse & Joy’s Joy Huerta

Mana is bringing a little Joy to one of its hit singles…

The legendary Mexican rock band has joined voices with Joy Huerta of Latin Grammy-winning Mexican duo Jesse & Joy for a revamped version of “Eres Mi Religion,” nearly 19 years after its original release.

Mana & Joy Huerta

“My loves, Maná invited me to be part of this song and it was impossible for me to resist,” Joy expressed on Instagram.

“Eres Mi Religion” is a timeless love anthem about finding your soul mate and being devoted to them.

Conserving the original’s essence, the 2021 version of “Eres Mi Religion” is still a romantic rock song. What’s different is its gospel-like intro and more instrumentation, likes the cajón. Notable is Joy’s powerhouse vocal throughout the track, beautifully harmonizing with Fher Olvera.

On the Billboard charts, the track peaked at No. 17 on Hot Latin Songs chart dated January 4, 2003, and at No. 10 on the Latin Pop Airplay chart dated January 4, 2003, earning the Mexican rock group its 10th top 10 at the time (the group has a total of 26).

It’s the latest re-do for Mana.

For two years now, the band has been sporadically releasing new versions of some of their biggest hits. In 2019, they released “Rayando el Sol” featuring Spanish crooner Pablo Alborán and “No Ha Parado de Llover” in collaboration with Sebastian Yatra.

“I feel very proud to be an ambassador for Pandora because it’s a brand that motivates women to shine on their own by way of their style,” says Natti Natasha about the partnership.

Songstress Danna Paola represents Mexico, pop darling Yara represents Colombia and Sonza will serve as ambassador in Brazil.

“Through their voices, these stars express dreams, desires, stories and moments in a Latin woman’s life,” said Martín Pereyra, general manager of Pandora Latin America. “Pandora is part of this marvelous squad, giving voice to the passions of many women via our jewelry. We want more women in Latin America to be part of the Pandora world and thanks to music, we’re one step closer to those women.”

Ally Brooke to Perform During This Year’s “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade”

It’ll be an extra special Thanksgiving for Ally Brooke

27-year-old Mexican American singer and former Fifth Harmony member will be performing as part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which may look different this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Unlike other years, the decorated floats and helium-filled balloons will not be marching down the usual two-and-a-half-mile route starting at West 77th Street. The parade has shorted its route and will only be held (without an audience) in front of Macy’s famed flagship store on 34th Street for the national television special.

Ally Brooke joins a roster of performers that includes Lauren Alaina, Jimmie Allen and Noah Cyrus, Sofia Carson, CNCO, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, Karol G, Tori Kelly, Patti LaBelle, Ella Mai, Leslie Odom Jr., Keke Palmer, Dolly Parton, Pentatonix, Bebe Rexha, Jordin Sparks, Sebastián Yatra, Brett Young and more.

The casts of HamiltonMean GirlsJagged Little Pill, and Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations, all of which have not taken the live stage since March, are set to perform at the parade.

While the Broadway performances will be filmed ahead of time, they will air during the broadcast at 9:00 a.m. ET on NBC.
